Overview
A short one day trek to the Base Camp of the popular Stok Kangri-one of the highest peak you can summit without any technical climbs. The trek provides a spectacular view of the Zanskar range and vibrant rocky hills adorned with colourful Buddhist prayer flags.
Lunch will be served at the Base camp before descending to Stok village.

Highlights
In the morning drive from Leh to Stok in car, till the start point of the Trek. Start trekking uphill towards the base camp of Stok Kangri. We will get a spectecular view of the Zanskar range and colourful hills along the way. The colourful Buddhist flag is a usual sight at passes in Ladakh, you may also encounter some wild animals like the Tibetan blue sheep on the way.
Lunch at the base camp.
Later descent back to the Stok village via gorge.
You can visit the Stok Palace - the residence of the Ladakhi royal family, where the descendants of the Namgyal Dynasty still resides.
Later drive back to Leh by car to reach Leh by evening.
